x → ∞ is 0
Form here is only emptiness,
emptiness only form,
Form is no other than emptiness,
Emptiness no other than form.
excerpt from "Heart Sutra" translated by Philip Kapleau in The Zen of Living and Dying
Arthur Eddington, in a 1928 lecture, described the two tables he worked at: one of substance, the "thingness" of ordinary experience, and the other, a scientific table of mostly emptiness and fields of force. He then described that they were the same table, only perceived differently.

The x in the title refers to the current point, such as the place 'you are here' in a map.
The reflections evoke imagery such as fire, sonogram, aquatic elements.
Over time the speed of the light varies, at times becoming almost still.
When the movement is slow, the reflections change from being realistic to abstract,
the frenetic activity of the piece — such as its sound — subsides, and it shifts the viewer's attention
from the spectacle to the apparatus of its construction.
This piece engages metaphorically with a conception of reality, dependent origination, whose first layer comprises of the material elements.
